Anthony Mathews joined the Beyster Institute after retiring from a nearly 30 year long career as one of the best-known ESOP and employee ownership experts in the country. Tony has served as a consultant to hundreds of ESOP companies through his positions at some of the most respected consulting and administration firms in the country. Most recently, Tony served as a Vice President and Senior Consultant with the Principal Financial Group. Tony is a frequent speaker and author on a wide range of employee ownership issues including ESOP feasibility and design; administrative and operational efficiency; repurchase planning; corporate governance; executive compensation and other related topics. Tony received his BA from Loyola University of Los Angeles and his MA from UCLA.
