Mr. Kouris is an attorney with expertise in corporate governance, securities, financing, privatization, and employee ownership issues. Mr. Kouris is currently a practicing attorney focusing on domestic and international corporate matters. He frequently serves on USAID, World Bank and privately funded projects to advise leaders and develop legislative and regulatory proposals relating to corporate governance, privatization, employee ownership, securities markets and other matters of regulatory reform. He has extensive experience working on such matters domestically and internationally in the countries of Zimbabwe, Ukraine, Russia, China, Bangladesh, Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. Mr. Kouris is a former trial attorney with the US Securities and Exchange Commission and General Counsel of Science Applications International Corporation. In addition to his law degree, Mr. Kouris holds a BS and MS degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois and is a Certified Public Accountant. |
